Ponds (2026)

Pond's Googly Woogly Wooksh was an ad directed by Prakash Varma, set in a hostel dorm in Ooty. I worked on set technicals and as a Prop Dresser under Production Designer Dhara Jain. The project began with referencing, trying to visually identify Pond's within the space, and then translating our ideas into 3D models on SketchUp.

As the project progressed, the team split between technical drawings, graphics and sourcing. I worked on the technical drawings for the canteen and sourced action props, furniture and hardware for the set. Since the setting was a school in Ooty, a lot of the props needed to be customised, so I also worked on illustrations and graphics for the set dressing.

During the shoot, I worked as a set Dresser, making last-minute changes to the space between shots, adjusting props and dressing the set according to what was visible in the frame. It was interesting to see how the space kept changing on camera and how quickly we had to respond to those changes.
